This NSA CryptoKids site is really interesting – teaching kids about how codes operate.
If anyone is going to build a time machine, it will be one of these women.
This OK Go video is seamless. Thanks to Gadget Lab | Wired for documenting it.
An old friend of mine did one of the more infamous media hoaxes from twenty years ago. He formed a fake coalition to protest the re-release of Disney‘s Fantasia. They were “against” the movie on the grounds of: drug references, the ridicule of overweight people, misrepresentation of classical music and being just too darn scary. The protest (and/or reveal of the hoax) made in onto The The San Francisco Examiner, The Oakaland Tribune, Entertainment Tonight, The Wall Street Journal and Time Magazine. There were a lot of angry journalists after this event (look halfway down the page for story).
All icons must be black and white, vector, not raster, no gray, no color.
Except Road Film, which HAD to have a splash of bright orange for the distant mountains.
And this. How can you convey “Chick Flick” without a mirror? You can’t. So I allowed a 50% gray.
This is a really good list.
I love Oprah.
