Ce n’est pas Norman Rockwell.
I struggled with this one.
In the original, which I decided not to publish, I was thinking that in a biography, you start with the “original”. Perhaps it is not perfectly told with an upper-left somewhat goofy drawing of a larger-than life real-life person, who already fancied himself as some kind of cross between a 70s rock star and a 50s sitcom character. Then a Venn diagram overlaps with the even-more-cartoon simplification of the original character into a pipe, fishing hat, lock of hair and waving hand, then is given the “Hollywood Treatment” where he becomes Robert Pattinson. Of course, this then would affect the original “person” who now fancies himself a cross between a 70s rock star, a 50s sitcom character and a millennial movie vampire-guy. So, it was a Venn/triad.
It looked a mess.
I finally decided to make Mr. Teen Vampire Dude “as” “Norman Rockwell”, or perhaps “Bob”. Because, basically, with a biography, there is always a disconnect of some sort. So, “why not”?
And, yeah, that is Magritte’s pipe.
