  1. There are a few concerns that I need to be aware of in these Icon series.

    1. The Fallacy of Reification. The problem when an abstract idea is treated as something concrete.

    2. Reinforcing Clichés. Does it make an idea more “closed” than “open”?

    3. Is there a corollary to #1? Taking something concrete and treating it too abstractly?

    4. Over-simplification.

    5. Stating the obvious.

    6. Adding unnecessary detail.

    7. Too didactic?

None of these will resolves themselves easily. I just keep them in mind.
